Adam’s Spiced Pork Sausage Rolls
1 kg minced pork
1 green apple
1 onion
2-4 garlic cloves
½ c bread crumbs
¼ c raisins
¼ c pine nuts
1 tsp cumin
1.5 tsp crushed fennel seed
2 eggs
3 sheets frozen butter puff pastry
1 egg lightly beaten
Preheat oven to 400F and line trays
Finely chop apple, onion, garlic – add bread crumbs, chopped raisins and pine nuts.
Add spices – add 1 egg lightly beaten.
Mix with hands and add mince – mix well.
Whisk an egg.
Put frozen pastry out and cut in ½ for 6 sheets.
Add mixture to pastry – roll and brush with egg.
Bake 25-30 minutes
